New Massachusetts RIA Is Launched

A $650 million new registered investment advisor firm, Stablepoint Partners, based in Braintree, Massachusetts, has been launched. The launch of the RIA speaks to a continued trend of breakaway firms being developed amidst a push by advisors for more independence.
The RIA will be led by co-founders Christopher Griffith and Henry Wheelwright, who are longtime partners with decades of collective experience serving executives, entrepreneurs, and multi-generational families.
Prior to Stablepoint, the partners had managed the Griffith Wheelwright Group since 2001. The are joined by Claire A Smith, who will serve as wealth advisor, and a client service team, including AnneMarie Daly and Allyson Cellucci.
The firm chose Goldman Sachs Advisor Solutions to help serve clients with a variety of solutions.
